AUGUST 2018
We would like to thank Dr Angela Sinadinos and Dr Jonathan Shelswell for all their hard work over the last two years, their vocational training at the practice has now been completed and they are now heading for pastures new. We wish them both every success in their future employment.

The practice is sorry to say goodbye to Dr Emily Pilcher who has completed her vocational training with the practice. We wish her every success in her future employment and thank her for her hard work this past year.

The practice would like to welcome back Dr Janak Patel who will be covering the patients of Dr Louisa Lee over the next seven months until her permament replacement Dr Cimene Langley returns to the practice later in the year.

All the staff are sorry that Dr Louisa Lee will be leaving the practice for pastures new at the end of the month.
We thank her for all the hard work over the past five years and wish her well in her future career.
She will be greatly missed by staff and patients alike. 

Miss Katie Watts and Mrs Lynda Parrish jointly won the employee of the year award for 2017 at the practice. 
They are excellent nurses who pay particular attention to the care of nervous patients, putting them at ease
and making everyone welcome. 
We thank them for their dedication and hard work throughout the year.

Thank you to all our patients who placed their spare change into the charity box at reception, a total of £49.40 was raised for Yorkshire Cancer Research.

Instead of sending out Christmas Cards the practice shared a card and raised a total of £55.00 for Wakefield Hospice.

We would like to welcome Dr Richard Greenhalgh to the practice, originally from Canterbury in Kent.
Richard qualified in Leeds in 2010 and after hospital jobs in Hull and Leeds he worked in general practice for 3 years.

All the staff at Tovey Little Dental Centre would like to welcome Dr Emily Pilcher to our team.
Emily qualified from Leeds University and is looking forward to her new employment at the practice.
She will be registering new patients in the near future, for more information contact our reception team.

Tovey Little are proud to be a training practice,  Each year we support newly qualified dentists in one or two years of post graduate training and education.  This year we would like to welcome Dr Chimene Langley, Dr Angela Sinadinos and Dr Jonathan Shelswell to our team.

On Tuesday 27th September, Tovey Little held a MacMillan Coffee Morning, all the girls baked delicious cakes to help raise funds for MacMillan, A grand total of £209.10 was raised, we would like to thank all the patients who helped support this event.


The practice is sorry to say goodbye to Dr Bnar Jaza and Dr Janak Patel they were a great assett to our team and will be greatly missed, We wish them all the best for the future in their new employment.

MAY 2016

On Sunday 15th May, five members of our team put on their running shoes and did the 10K race for life around Thornes Park in Wakefield. The girls raised a massive amount £787.74 for Cancer Research,  We would like to thank everyone who sponsered them

On Tuesday 22nd December all the staff took to wearing Christmas Jumpers to help raise funds
for Wakefield Hospice. Along with the share a card the practice raised a total of £72.50

On Tuesday 22nd September 2015, all the staff baked cakes for the MacMillan Coffee Morning.
A grand total of £335.53 was raised.
Thankyou to all the patients and staff for supporting this event, helping to make it  a great success.

Dr louisa Lee has sucessfully passed her Royal College of Surgeons of Edingburgh certificate for membership of the faculty of Dental Surgery (MFDS)

Everyone enjoys a birthday and in the case of one of our patients she will be enjoying her "centenary" in June this year.
Mrs Way has been a patient for the last 30 years, although initially very nervous she has continued to attend, in the later years with the help of her son.
Although we have many patients in their 90's  Mrs Way is the first to reach 100 and still attend the practice on a regular basis.
We hope she has a great day and remains fit and well for many years.
MARCH 2015
On Friday 13th March, the staff working took to painting their faces funny for money to help raise funds for Comic Relief.
Although there was limited staff working the practice raised £47.56  for this worthy charity.

On Tuesday 17th March the practice was closed all afternoon for staff training, this included fire training provided by Samson Fire.
The Practice has now started to send text message reminders to patients to help try and reduce the number of missed appointments, to receive this service please update your mobile telephone details at reception.
