NOTE: The practice is closed for lunch between 1.00pm and 1.45pm

 

Making your appointment

To make an appointment, please ring 01924 374092 during surgery times.

Outside surgery hours, or if more convenient, use online form and our receptionist will contact you to confirm a suitable date and time.

We always try to see patients at the appointed time. If you are kept waiting there is normally a good reason. Please be patient.

If you have to cancel an appointment please give us at least 24 hours notice. This enables us to make alternative arrangements - perhaps to see someone in pain!


Once your initial treatment is complete we encourage you to come back to the practice at regular intervals to see that everything is going well and to prevent further problems arising.

 

 

 
     
Emergencies and out of hours contact

Please telephone the practice number and an answering machine will give a details of the emergency number to ring. The local Primary Care Trust (PCT) is responsible for providing out of hours cover and there is also a clinic across the road from our practice at Newstead House, Bond Street, Wakefield for out of hours emergency care. Appointments may be booked at this clinic via NHS Direct. This clinic is open on Bank Holidays and weekends between the hours of 9am and 5pm. It is important to note that appointments here have to be pre-booked; it is not a drop in centre.
